On 1st September 2019 (1st Muharram 1416 H) Sultan-ul-Faqr VII Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman presided over a gathering to commemorate the death anniversary of Umar ibn al-Khattab.
Naeem Abbas Sarwari Qadri compered the ceremony. To begin with, Hafiz Yousuf recited the Holy Quran followed by Mohammad Ramzan Bahoo who read a beautiful eulogy in praise of the Holy Prophet. Hafiz Hammad-ur-Rehman then gave a speech highlighting the grandeur of Umar ibn al-Khattab. In the end, Mohammad Zaeem Qadri read Khatam and then Hafiz Hammad-ur-Rehman made the final supplication to the end of the ceremony. Sultan-ul-Faqr VII Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen then met with the devotees who had come from far afield and blessed them with his Divine company.
